Airtel – Extremely slow service

Hi,

Its been 20 odd days and my airtel broadband connection is not shifted to the new place in Karnataka.

Also, tired by calling the airtel customer care, i actually cancelled my existing connection and ordered for a new one.

its after then that the airtel people came and they said they can activated the old connection. Now again they are saying it will take another 7 days.

Seriously its pathetic to have airtel connection.

    hi airtel.
    I got a missed call from +923321707275 at 8.44 am on 29-8-12. When i called back at the same number at 10:10 am other side person speaking in urdu mixed hindi .he said he is speaking from coustum. then i thuoght its not a indian number which i have called.the person has informed me that i have won 25 lacks ruppes.as a part of kbc. Hence i request airtel to look at this issue.plz and revert back.what kind of acation has been taken on such fraud callers.

    Hi There,

    VERY SAME EXPERIENCE , IAM GOING THROUGH and NOT SURE HOW TO STOP THIS HAPPENING.
    I moved from Chennai to Bangalore and transferred my airtel connection. the airtel support team said it will take 20 days and exactly on or before september 5th 11.45AM you will get the connection transferred to Bangalore.

    September 4th, we called and reminded, we got just ONE day, so please check. The Only reply is, the “Service Request is open, and it will be done by September 5, 11.45AM”

    September 5 came, 11.45 came, nothing happened. we called again and they are saying, we raised a complaint, wait for 48hrs. Seriously this is just a customer harassment. No sensitive to Customer values or sentiments what so ever! The call has been twice escalated and the escalation desk managers (Santhosh, Sandeep, ) just read the same message.

    Why we need a Manager to read the message from computer. They should be able to act on the situation. Very Pathetic situation here especially when we wait on the phone, the recorded message talks much about the excellent customer care airtel provides and its great.

    I hope Airtel Upper Management take this serious and do something about it.

    Dear Airtel
    I have tried calling your customer care center for last 1 month for getting my number ported. However your call center is not replying properly and often disconnect the call also even they don’t have the proper knowledge of the plan.
    This is how you treat customers then I am better off with my current operator.
