I, Arjit Vashistha R/O C-6/93 Keshav Puram Delhi 110035, applied for renewal of my passport number A6281137 (expired on 29/09/2008) on 01/06/2010 (application number F019198). But my application was rejected stating that I have shifted my residence. However I stayed at the same address.

I again applied through the same application number (F019198) in March 2012 and all the verifications were done in my presence and in presence of 4 witnesses.

Till date there is no update on my passport even on the web page provided there is no update.

Kindly help me on this issue as for the past 3 months I am running from pillar to post to find the exact status of same and the only response I get is “file dhondni padegi” or the people standing outside tell me to shell 4-5 thousand to get my passport.
